Little Eagle Walk Trail - John Forrest National Park
This new 7.9km trail has been developed as a shorter option to the 15km Eagle View Walk Trail and replaces the Christmas Tree Creek Trail which has been closed. The trail starts at Jane Brook where you cross the brook at the little weir next to the nature playground. With wildflower season fast approaching we decided to hike the 4.6 km Wildflower Walk Trail in John Forrest National Park. John Forrest National Park was established in 1900 and has been a popular picnic and walking spot ever since. Glen Brook Walk Trail - John Forrest National Park
This blog was originally written for the 2km loop trail around the dam but in August 2023 park management extended this trail with a 2.5km trail up the gully beyond the dam. The new 4.5km trail has been renamed the Glen Brook Walk Trail and we have now included the extension in this blog.
