Quinns Coastal Walk
If you hate the crowds along the coast at North Beach but enjoy overlooking the ocean on your walks or rides the coastal path at Quinns Rocks is perfect. A shared use path extends from Rosslare Park at Mindarie and continues northward beyond the Jindalee Beach Shack so there is plenty of opportunity for a longer walk or bike ride. We started our walk from Frederick Stubbs Park where parking is available in the beach car park or roadside bays. Grab a coffee from Quinns Cafe be

Sunset Coast Shared Path -Mullaloo Beach to Whitfords Nodes
With it's long stretch of glistening white sand and gentle waves lapping the shore Mullaloo Beach is popular at any time of the year. With the added attraction of two playgrounds, large green spaces and a variety of places to grab some food this is a great place to start or finish a coastal/beach walk or bike ride. The shared path continues south alongside Northshore Drive to the Northshore Drive Car Park where you might find the James Bean Coffee van. From here the path he

Whadjuk Trails - Yange Kep Bidi
The Yange Kep Bidi, (translation Wetland Trail) lies on Whadjuk Noongar land and meanders around various wetlands located between Claremont and Galup - Lake Monger. At 21km it covers a considerable distance and is a full days walk end to end however you can easily break it into shorter sections and complete loops back to your starting point. Yange Kep Bidi links with the heritage of intersecting or overlapping trails including the Claremont Meanders - Cobblers and Convicts

Point Heathcote - Goolugatup - with Heathcote Pirate Playground - Applecross
We walked this as an extension of our Deepwater Point Two Bridges walk and crossed under Canning Bridge to the northern side of Canning Highway. Parking in this area is somewhat limited so I would recommend this as either a loop walk or a there and back walk starting from Jeff Joseph or Heathcote Reserves, If you are doing a loop it is more scenic walking from the Raffles Hotel towards Point Heathcote as you have city views. As you walk past the Raffles Hotel there are s

Walking Subiaco - The Commonage including the Six Seasons Bidi Trail and Subiaco Oval Precinct
The history of this area begins with the tradition of Indigenous spiritual dreaming. The Nyungah people of the Swan River and the Swan coastal plains are the traditional owners, keepers of knowledge, custodians and carers of the land and waterways. The natural bushland provided a source of food for Indigenous groups who lived in and around this area. The first European settlers in this vicinity were a group of Benedictine monks led by Dom Joseph Serra and Dom Rosendo Salvado.
