Rocky Pool Walk - Kalamunda National Park
Rocky Pool is a fabulous place to visit but there is some confusion on the best way to get there. This trail is called the Rocky Pool Walk and it does go to Rocky Pool by way of a 5km loop from Spring Road in Kalamunda. It is a long way around and there are shorter options listed below. We were following the trail notes published by the Shire of Kalamunda but have found these confusing in the past and this time was no different as we "lost" the trail at some point and found

You can wander across the old fairways exploring as you go or you can take the 2.7km loop Jorgensen Park Walk Trail which incorporates the fairways with bush trails including sections of the Bibbulmun Track. The trail has some inclines but is generally easy going. The track is reasonably wide until you venture on to sections of Bibbulmun where the track narrows down to single use. T

Piesse Brook Interpretive Trail to Rocky Pool - Kalamunda National Park
This interpretive trail follows Piesse Brook in Kalamunda National Park to Rocky Pool before returning the same way, a round trip of 3.4 km taking around an hour all up. Rocky Pool is a great place to stop off and enjoy the moment, have a trail snack or if the water is low in summer perhaps even a paddle. Starting from Schipp Road off Hummerston Road in Piesse Brook this trail follows Schipp Road which is a wide, mostly compacted dirt trail. Piesse Brook is evident at the b
