This beautiful little park is a hidden gem right in the middle of Joondalup. Entry is off Grand Boulevard, opposite Collier Pass, into a small car park. There are a few trails that loop around including the boardwalk across the small lake in front of the TAFE. Paths are paved and ideal for kids on bikes and scooters. Bushmead is a new development built on the old Commonwealth owned rifle range. It features The Giant Playground, Rushmore Green Toddler Playground and the Kadina Bush Trail which has been developed in conjunction with Nature Play WA and features as one of the trails on their app. THE GIANT PARK This playground takes advantage of mature trees for shade and has lots open green space surrounding it. This is an amazing fully fenced playground on the edge of Bibra Lake. Access is via Progress Drive. The Bibra Lake Regional Playground has double gates to keep the kids contained but they will be so busy with all the different pieces of equipment they won't want to leave! One of several easy bush walking trails within Whiteman Park the Goo Loorto Trail follows Bennett Brook. Goo Loorto means ‘type of eucalypt’ in the local Noongar Aboriginal language.
