Mettams Pool Coastal Walk - North Beach to Trigg
This walk is about 2 km in length and takes 30 minutes each way. Parking is always at a premium along this stretch of coast so you can start your walk from anywhere and then backtrack as necessary. With lots of lovely places to dine or stop for a coffee this is a lovely relaxing weekend walk with superb views up and down the coast. Scarborough Trigg Heritage Trail
This Heritage Trail consists of three different loops around the Scarborough and Trigg Coastline, extending into Trigg Bushland. Each loop can be walked in isolation or combined, as we did, into a 7.5km (2 Hour) walk. Although there are some heritage markers along the way this is really just a combination coast/bush walk starting from the Scarborough beachfront so don't let the "Heritage Trail" put you off trying this lovely walk. Trigg Bushland
The walk I did was another Wildflower Society of WA guided walk with David Pike sharing his in depth knowledge of the natural environment we passed through. There are plenty of well marked trails on both sides of Elliott Road to explore without the need for a guide. For the moment exploring the more extensive southern part of the reserve will have to wait for another day. As Trigg Bushland Reserve is quite extensive I would suggest downloading a map and planning your trail.
