Central Park Joondalup

Updated: Aug 20, 2023

This beautiful little park is a hidden gem right in the middle of Joondalup. Entry is off Grand Boulevard, opposite Collier Pass, into a small car park.

There are a few trails that loop around including the boardwalk across the small lake in front of the TAFE. Paths are paved and ideal for kids on bikes and scooters. Some pass through bush while others border the parkland.

Kids can explore the rocks and animal sculptures along the stream or have boat or stick races. Large grassy areas invite you to throw down a picnic rug and spend some time taking in the peace and tranquility.

At the top of the park is a green open space with the War Memorial which is worth a look.

Toilets are located in the carpark. Dogs are not permitted in the park. Sometimes if you arrive early you may come across some people who have slept rough in the park overnight.

We explored Central Park as part of our Joondalup Adventure.

We pay our respect to their elders past and present and emerging and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
