Tapping Trails

With the government directive to stay close to home for exercise we decided to explore our local area. We mapped out two trails in Tapping based around the many parks. Most of the parks have playgrounds and because they are all currently "closed" it made taking photos easy!

My preferred loop was the 4.7km trail from da Vinci Park south to Ashley Park which took just under an hour.

From da Vinci Park we headed to Rosinski Park.

Downhill from there to Ashley Park - there are natural walking trails through Ashley Park but on this occasion we didn't venture in

From Ashley Park we wandered through beautiful Carosa Park, my favourite.

On to Provost Park.

Then via Bonvin Park back to da Vinci Park.

The second trail also started at da Vinci Park but this time we walked around the lake.

before heading up to Eiffel Park where we climbed up to the "lookout".

From there we headed to Jimbub Swamp Park taking the switchback path from Waldburg Drive before crossing the oval which has some fitness equipment. We skirted the bush area until we found a path into the bush section.

On to Pat Scarfo Park and then to the Ray Gardiner Lookout

We wandered through the bush at Alvarez Park before heading back to da Vinci Park.

This walk took around an hour and covered 4km.
