Coastal Walk Trail - North Mindarie to Quinns Beach
Starting from either the carpark on Rosslare Promenade in Mindarie or from the car park at Quinns Beach Surf Life Saving Club this path meanders along the coast for just over 1 km, taking about 15 minutes each way. Heading north you get lovely views over the water to Quinns Beach and heading south you get views down the coast to Mindarie Harbour. There are interpretive signs along the way... and you can keep the kids busy scanning QR codes or see if they can spot the osprey i

Burns Beach Coastal Walk
EDIT FEB 2026 - With the planned redevelopment of the Burns Beach Foreshore scheduled from March to August 2026 the shared use path will be closed with detours in place while construction takes place. Starting from the Cafe at Burns Beach head south along the paved shared use path. The path winds up and down some fairly steep hills so this walk is excellent exercise. Cottesloe to Swanbourne Coastal Walk
This paved, flat walk is perfect for young and old of any fitness level and offers stunning coastal scenery with well placed benches along the way if you need to rest. It can be walked in either direction and if the full 2km between Cottesloe and Swanbourne is too far you can walk a shorter section. Parking in Cottesloe can be a challenge so we parked on Napier Street and set off to explore the Cottesloe Civic Centre with it's lovely gardens and great ocean views. Convenient

Secret Gnome Garden
Shh! Don't let this secret out! Nestled in a copse of trees along the waterfront of North Cottesloe is the Secret Gnome Garden. This delightful hidden "garden" between Marine Parade and Little Marine Parade is a delightful discovery for both children and adults. We discovered the Secret Gnome Garden on our Cottesloe to Swanbourne walk. Walking along the coast keep an eye out for an unusual house. Cross the road to explore the bushy bit and you will encounter a path lead

Cottesloe Coastal Walk
There is more to Cottesloe than the iconic beach view of the Indiana or the magnificent Sculptures by the Sea held each year in early March. The Cottesloe Coastal Walk Challenge is about finding 30 walking along the coast north or south from the main beach. We chose to walk south following the dual use footpath along Marine Parade. This provided stunning ocean views out to Rottnest Island, Fremantle Harbour and even Garden Island heading south and stunning views of Cottesl
